Chungbuk Cheongju FC’s rising stars…more to come with a solid breath of fresh air

Chungbuk Cheongju FC has been on a roll lately, winning three of its last five matches.

At the centre of this are four players who have been together since the third division.

Cheongju FC was the parent club of Chungbuk Cheongju FC in the third division.

Most of the 30-odd players left the team when it became a professional club, but Lee Jung-taek, Lee Seung-yeop, Lee Min-hyung, and Jung Jin-wook remained.먹튀검증

The four players who proved their worth were selected.

One of them, Lee Jung-taek, started the season as a bench player but has already established himself as a starter in 12 matches.

“I thought I was going to stay at the back a lot, but I think the coach gave me a good chance from the first game, so I was able to make a quick debut.”

The youngest of the four, 2000-born Lee Seung-yup, also struggled to compete with the foreigners at the start of the season,

but in the last five games, he has been showing his best form.

“If I get playing time, if I do my best in that time, I will score my debut goal and increase my attacking points.”

Lee Min-hyung, who has been with Cheongju FC since 2020, scored his debut goal against Ansan last time out and is helping to drive the team’s upward trend.

“There are a lot of injuries, so I’m getting a lot more playing time now, but I still feel like I’m not good enough…”

Jeong Jin-wook, the former Cheongju FC goalkeeper, has yet to make his official debut, but is ready to step up to the plate.

“If I get into the game, I’m ready to play as well as my older brothers, so I hope many people will watch with interest.”

Their performances have helped Chungbuk Cheongju FC to three wins, one draw and one loss in their last five matches.

In that span, Chungbuk Cheongju has scored as many goals as they did in their previous 10 matches and conceded less than one goal per game.//

Currently in 11th place, Chungbuk Cheongju FC will be back in action on Sunday at 4pm,

They will be looking to redeem themselves when they host the Jeonnam Dragons, the team that handed them a 3-0 defeat in April./
