‘I’m responsible for all my losses’ Director Kim Seung-gi “As a manager, I was too weak”

Manager Kim Seung-gi blamed all the reasons for the defeat on himself.

Goyang Carrot Jumpers lost 82-91 in the 3rd round match against Wonju DB Promy in the 2022-2023 SKT Adot Professional Basketball Regular League held at Wonju Sports Complex on the 13th.

On this day, Carrot continued a difficult game by allowing DB a large number of runs from the first quarter. DB’s foreign players scored until the end of the game, but unexpectedly Kim Jong-gyu and Choi Seung-wook conceded and gave up the victory.

Carrot’s native ace Jeon Seong-hyeon set a career high record of 34 points and chilled DB’s conversation until the end. Coach Kim Seung-gi also expressed his gratitude to the players who did their best, led by Jeon Seong-hyun. Then, he blamed all the reasons for his defeat on himself.

Coach Kim Seung-gi said, “The players worked hard, but the coach made it impossible to win the game. I ran the game incompetently. I, the coach, was too weak.”

Subsequently, coach Kim said, “I had to defend so that no points were awarded. It is the ability of a manager to make defense possible, but I lacked the ability.”

Manager Kim Seung-gi revealed in his pre-interview that he had concerns about the number 4 position. In the end, manager Kim Seung-gi’s worries became the main reason for driving Carrot to defeat.  스포츠토토

Choi Seung-wook and Kim Jong-gyu easily scored easily by posting up mismatch situations that occur from time to time. The two players combined for 37 points that day.

Coach Kim Seung-gi said, “Short height is our team’s limit. We made a mistake starting with the composition of the players. Everything is the manager’s responsibility. The players ran hard.”
