Korea Men’s National Volleyball Team AG departs for Hangzhou

The Korea Volleyball Association (KVA) announced that the Korean men’s national team will participate in the 2022 Hangzhou Summer Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, from July 19-26.

The men’s team, led by head coach Lim Do-heon, will send a total of 12 players, half of whom are from last season’s V-League champions Korean Air.

Hwang Taek-ui (Armed Forces Athletic Corps) and Han Se-u (Korean Air) will lead the setters, with Park Kyung-min (Hyundai Capital) at libero and Heo Soo-bong (Hyundai Capital) and Lim Dong-hyuk (Korean Air) at outside hitter. Four players were selected as outside hitters: Jeon Kwang-in (Hyundai Capital), Na Kyung-bok (DOD), Jeong Ji-seok, and Jeong Jung-yong (Korean Air). Korea, which is in Group C of the men’s volleyball competition at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games 2022, will take on India and Cambodia on Nov. 20. The men’s volleyball team will depart for Hangzhou, China, the host city of the tournament, together with the Korean beach volleyball team, via Incheon International Airport on the 16th.
