The 2022-2023 V-League champions, Korea Expressway Corporation High Pass, will play a public friendly match against Japan’s Toray Arrows, winners of the 2022-2023 Black Swan season.
The team announced that it will play the friendly against Toray at its home stadium, Gimcheon Indoor Gymnasium, at 4 p.m. on March 23.
Eighteen players will participate in the friendly, including foreign player Vanya Vukiric and Kim Se-bin, who was selected in the first round of the last rookie draft.
The Toray Volleyball Club, which has been affiliated with the Road Corporation since 2000, is a traditional Japanese powerhouse that has won four Japan V-League titles, two Emperor and Empress Junior titles, and six Black Tiger titles.
After meeting in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture in August for three practice matches, the two teams will meet again in Gimcheon City, home of Korea Expressway Corporation, in just over a month.
The Toray volleyball team will arrive via Gimhae Airport in Busan on the 20th and will play three practice matches at the Korea Expressway Corporation volleyball team’s practice gym and one at the Gimcheon Indoor Gym.바카라사이트
The public friendly match, co-hosted by the Korea Express and the Youngnam Daily, will feature a variety of attractions, including a match between the Gimcheon City Mothers Volleyball Team and celebratory performances before the match.
“Through this friendly match, we will quench the thirst of volleyball fans in the off-season and provide various attractions for local fans who showed their support last season,” said Kim Il-hwan, head of Road Corporation.
